February 20, 2010 - IC Sharks is the greatest seafood market in Saint Petersburg. The fish, shrimp, & crabs that I have bought are fresh. They aren't slimey like the grocers.... I love this market!!!!!

January 24, 2010 -I. C. Sharks does have THE freshest seafood! Last night, I grilled their salmon and grouper filets and they were fabulous. It is so clean inside the market...no fishy smell at all. The folks that work there were very helpful, too. I have been so sick of the slimey shrimp from the grocers. KUDO'S to you IC Sharks!

They have a marina, boats to rent, boat slips and bait & tackle. On Gandy Blvd. just before the Banana Boat after you pass Derby Lane on the right side of Gandy going east. IT IS GREAT! Really fresh seafood here. Not that disappointing overpriced stuff you get at other places. Help is fast and efficient, they make a mean fish spread they sell in 2 sizes which is to die for! Join the Email club and get first notification of fresh off the boat items and discounts. A real plus to the area!

For anyone out there interested in the best place to get live blue crabs, I.C. Sharks Seafood Market on Gandy Blvd. in St. Petersburg is the place. The staff there is really nice. They always have crabs, good healthy ones. There are about one mile east of the dog track on the same side of the road. We get crabs from there all the time. You can call 'em at 727-498-8568 to make sure they got crabs, but they almost always do. Oh yeah, the guys that run the place are from O.C. Maryland and they know how to steam 'em up!

I. C. Sharks is a new seafood market located at 13060 Gandy Blvd. St. Petersburg. It's side of the Banana Boat. They have the freshest fish that I've ever bought. It is SO clean and the price is good! Their web site says that they are building a raw bar behind the market at the marina. They even have rental boats! Check it out!
